After seeing the lyric video I made for The Thief and the Moon, recording artist Shawn James reached out to me and asked if I would like to make a video for his single Orpheus.
The song takes its inspiration from the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, a tragic love story that involves snakes, the underworld, Cerberus and Hades himself.
For the video, I took inspiration from the styling of ancient Greek pottery, choosing to give the characters a stone-like appearance and framing it within ornate symmetrical patterns.
I have worked on many different graphics and video editing jobs for Oddworld Inhabitants over the past few years.
This is the title sequence for their upcoming video game, Soulstorm. It features black and white animations from the talented team at Oddworld and contains many composite layers, text effects and blood cell animations created by me.

One of the first projects I had the honour of working with Oddworld on was the opening animation of the video game, New ‘n’ Tasty.
Featuring artwork and 3D models from the talented team at Oddworld Inhabitants, I composited all the layers into one sequence. It also features animated ambient elements such as sparks, smoke and birds, all in an effort to give the sequence depth and dynamism.
I have created several projects for SuperString Games and their upcoming video game, HeadSpun.
These range from looping animations for the menu screen, animated title card and video editing for in-game sequences.
All projects created to match the game’s colour scheme and fit in with the theme of brain cells and neurons firing signals.
This is the second lyric I have had the pleasure of working on for singer/songwriter Adam Duffill. This is for his single “Bright Blue Eyes”.
Based around the song’s main theme of a love interests “bright blue eyes”, it features, for the most part, a single eye that remains in the center of the screen, with pupil and eye-lid animations to convey the lyrics.
I have had the pleasure of working with TheSixthAxis.com for many years, creating may different logo animations and game-specific logo idents.
This is the current animated logo that the website (Europe’s largest independent games website) uses for all of their video content, from reviews to previews, hands-on and opinion pieces.
Nintendo Insider is a website specialising in the reviews, previews and op-ed pieces about Nintendo video games and products.
They approached me to see if I could create an animated logo for their online video content. Specifically, they were looking for something in the style of popular video game Splatoon.
In the animation, the logo is revealed by splattering paint.
Let’s Bid 4 Lets is a UK-based company working in the housing rental market.
As well as creating their logo, I also created a short animated tutorial on how their business works.
I was approached by Horndean Technology College - the science department in particular - to create an ident for their online videos, which are designed to help students revise and learn.
